Our Commitment to Accuracy
PurePep Vital publishes educational content about peptide research for an audience of researchers, laboratories, and informed readers. Every article, guide, and comparison page is written with a commitment to scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and transparency about what we know, what we don't know, and where readers should look for definitive answers.
We are not a medical publication. We do not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or recommend treatments. All content is framed for research use only (RUO) contexts.
How Content Is Researched
Every piece of educational content goes through a structured research process:
- Primary literature review: We reference published research from peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE, with preference for randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses
- Clinical trial data: For compounds in clinical development, we reference data from ClinicalTrials.gov and published trial results in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet)
- Regulatory sources: FDA communications, EMA assessments, and official agency guidance are cited for regulatory context
- Preclinical distinction: We clearly distinguish between preclinical (animal model) evidence and human clinical trial data. Preclinical findings are described as such and not extrapolated to human outcomes
Editorial Review Process
Content passes through multiple review stages before publication:
- Research and drafting: Content is researched and drafted by our editorial team with reference to primary literature
- Scientific review: Dr. Elena Vasquez, Ph.D. (Biochemistry, Peptide Research) serves as lead science editor, reviewing all educational content for factual accuracy, appropriate sourcing, and correct interpretation of research findings
- RUO compliance review: A compliance reviewer verifies that all content adheres to research-use-only framing — no therapeutic claims, no personal dosing advice, no language implying human consumption
- Periodic re-review: Published content is periodically reviewed for accuracy as new research is published. The "Last reviewed" date on each article indicates when it was most recently verified
What We Do and Do Not Claim
We do:

- Explain peptide mechanisms based on peer-reviewed science
- Compare retailer offers and quality signals transparently
- Disclose all affiliate relationships before purchase links
- Clearly label content as educational and for research use only
We do not:
- Provide medical advice or treatment recommendations
- Make therapeutic claims about research compounds
- Conduct our own laboratory testing or issue COAs
- Sell, ship, or handle peptide products
- Guarantee any outcomes from research compounds
Affiliate Transparency
PurePep Vital earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with research peptide retailers. This means we may receive a commission when readers purchase through our links. Our affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page that contains purchase links, in our full disclosure statement, and in compliance with FTC guidelines.
Affiliate relationships do not influence the factual content of our educational articles, guides, or comparison pages. Research findings are reported as published regardless of commercial implications.
