HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) is the most common UV-based purity readout. TIC in MS contexts is total ion current; in some charts it may be mis-labeled in casual speech—clarify with the data package. TFA is trifluoroacetic acid, often a counter-ion in peptide products; residual TFA is sometimes reported. MS / MS/MS indicate mass and fragmentation experiments for identity.
